Millstreet Church Choir pictured at Millstreet Country Park in 2002.
Quite a magical image here when at Millstreet Day Care Centre we photographed a very talented Dancer who appeared to be representing San Francisco in the 2002 Rose of Tralee. With the superb accordian music of Seán Buckley all eyes are on the amazing Dancer who truly seems to be in mid-air!

Millstreet Country Park will not Reopen for the 2017 Season

Millstreet Country Park will not reopen for the 2017 season. The decision was taken due to insufficient tourism numbers over the past several years.

A review of all aspects of the 500-acre development, including an open discussion with interested parties, will take place in 2017 with the intention of creating a sustainable future for Millstreet Country Park.

1916 Heritage Day – next Sunday

Heritage Day Millstreet Country Park 28th Aug(final)
Also, please note that to make it a more interactive day, people are asked to bring their own piece of 1916 up to the park for the day. This could be a picture of a family member, items used during the time or some other items to synonymous with that time in Ireland. Seán Radley will be up to show a few pieces himself and it would be lovely to have others contributing and sharing stories.

The Bug Fest is on July 10th

dragonflies_rszMillstreet Country Park‘s Bug Fest 2016 is taking place from 2 – 5pm on Sunday the 10th of July!

It’s great fun for all the family with loads of fantastic activities like Bug Hunts, Pond Dipping, looking at a freshwater tank full of pond life and Bug Arts and Crafts.

After all of this adventuring you can kick back and relax in the visitor centre cafe, get an ice cream and maybe a venison burger from our BBQ (weather dependent of course).
