Millstreet Athletic Club – Congratulations to Lucy O’Sullivan

Congratulations to Lucy O’Sullivan (Millstreet AC) who won gold in the U15 800m at the National B All-Ireland Championships in Tullamore on 13th July.

What a fantastic achievement.

This is Lucy’s Fourth All- Ireland medal  this year, yes her fourth!!

She is a fantastic athlete and we wish her the very best in the upcoming cross country season.

Well done Lucy.

Willie Neenan Memorial 5 mile Road race

Despite the rain over 220 runners from near and far  took part in the annual Willie Neenan Memorial 5 mile Road race on 28th June.
Thank you everyone for supporting our race and making it such a successful event especially our stewards, Gardai, our sponsors, everyone who helped out in the hall and kitchen, Geraldine for the great photos and Hannah for up loading them.  We really appreciate it 💕

We are a solidarity-through-sport initiative which uses running, jogging and walking to bring together asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and all Irish residents. 

Our vision is for a more inclusive, integrated and equal society where the benefits of multiculturalism are clearly understood and valued and that community integration as a policy is properly understood, valued and championed.
