More Donations from Volunteering Fundraisers

As the generosity of the local businesses and community was so great during the fundraising efforts for my volunteering in India, it allowed other donations to be made to two other very worthy causes Marymount Hospice and Millstreet Community Hospital. €910 has been donated to both (pictures below).

I shall send updates during my 10 weeks of volunteering. I have received my itinerary for the first four weeks and I shall be teaching a class of 30 kids in Palampur aged between 10 -15 yrs. I will be teaching English, mathematics, general knowledge and sports to them.

Again a massive thank you to everyone who helped out, took part and donated to these volunteering efforts – Celina.

Magnificent Response to Recent Marymount Fundraising Project

This is the very fine load of timber blocks delivered as one of the many excellent in the recent Marymount Hospice Fundraising Project. All prizes have now been delivered. A further €1,000.00 is also being sent following contributions at The Pub that night in Carriganima as well as a further number of extra contributions received for the richly deserving fund. Sincere thanks to everyone who helped in any way to make this project so remarkably successful. A very special tribute be paid to Jerry O'D. and Tim C. (although they prefer to remain in the background) for the truly marvellous dedication they both showed throughout the past number of months to bring this hugely successful result to reality. Well, well done to both gentleman and to all others in the organising Committee. (S.R.)
