Thank you from MVC Tractor Run

 

Millstreet Vintage Club held a tractor run on the 19th October in aid of CART with a super turnout of tractors and a great day was had by everyone.
Danny Lane Clerk of the Course & Millstreet Vintage Club would like to thank all drivers that went on today’s Tractor Run & everyone that donated money with proceeds going to CART Carriganima Area Rural Transport.

Danny would like to say thanks to all the marshals for managing the junctions & parking, ladies on registration, Aidan Dennehy for clearing the way ahead of the run, Seanie & staff of The Pub Carriganima for their excellent venue, Christy Ring for sponsoring the beautiful keyrings, catering ladies/ CART committee for their fantastic hospitality before and after the run, Guards for their help,Walsh Family for their parking facilities, everyone that donated spot prizes, & all the photographers for their fabulous work.

Thanks very much to everyone for making this event a very successful day once again.

Dromtarriffe Vintage Club Tractor Run happening tomorrow Sunday October 5th

The final event of 2025 for Dromtarriffe Vintage Club is fast approaching.

The Club are holding a tractor run on this Sunday, 5th October, in aid of Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland.

There will also be a raffle held on the day.

Refreshments will be available before setting out on a scenic route. Gathering at Dromtarriffe GAA Grounds from 11 a.m. with the run beginning at 1 p.m.

We look forward to welcoming you all to our final run of 2025 in aid of a great charity based in Little Island, Co. Cork.

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group support Aubane Community Centre

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group made a Presentation to the Crew at Aubane Community Centre last Wednesday Evening at the Centre with a Cheque for €2,691.20 following the Groups recent Vintage Car and Vintage Tractor Run held on Sunday August 17th

Event Organisers Bernard Crowley and Jack Sheehan were on hand to present the proceeds of the Event to the Chairman of Aubane Social Club John F. Kelleher and Committee who were delighted to get such support with John thanking the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group and the people who supported and contributed to the Event held back in August,John said the money will be put to good use for the upkeep and maintenance of the Community Centre which is a vital and integral part of the Aubane Community.

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group are delighted to be associated with Aubane Social Club and since the Group was formed back in July 2024 they have been made very welcome in Aubane where they have been able use a top class facility in Aubane Community Centre which is ideal to hold there Events,Jack Sheehan and Bernard Crowley also paid tribute to the People in the locality who help out in the Running of there Events out of Aubane and to the Landowners in the locality for allowing us use there land for Parking when needed,they concluded by saying that they looked forward to working with the people of Aubane and Aubane Community Centre again in 2026.

Sunday 31st August was another successful event by Millstreet Vintage Club, which was the Van & Jeep Run held in K&L Millstreet.

Evan O Sullivan Clerk of the course & Millstreet Vintage Club would like to thank the following people O’ Keeffe Family & staff of K&L for the use of such a fantastic venue, Insta Coffee catering for refreshments on the morning, An Garda Síochána for their assistance, all Marshalls that helped & made the day run so well, ladies that did sign on & raffle, photographers and videographers for their excellent work which we will be looking forward to seeing very soon.

Evan would also like to say thanks to everyone who participated in the run and donated to Diabetes Ireland & St Joseph’s Foundation. Blackwater Valley Vintage Group made a Presentation to Millstreet Mens Shed last Wednesday Evening August 20th at there Premises on the Macroom Road with a Cheque for €1,110 following the Groups recent Light Comercials/Van and Vintage Tractor Run held on July 27th.

Event Organiser Dan Barry was on hand to present the proceeds of the Event to Liam O’Flynn and the Mens Shed Crew who were delighted to get such support with Liam thanking the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group and the people who supported and contributed to the Event held on July 27th last and Liam gave an outline of the great work the Mens Shed Group does in the locality.

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group are delighted to be associated and be able help the Men’s Shed Group whose work creates places of belonging, participation,mutual respect,companionship and community for there Members.

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group would like to thank Everybody who made the trip to Aubane on Sunday last for our Vintage Car and Tractor Run in aid of Aubane Community Centre.

Bernard Crowley and Jack Sheehan headed the Car and Tractor Runs and they wish to acknowledge the help they got in the lead up to the Event and on the day itself,to the Catering Crew in Aubane all we can say is that they looked after us so well with top class food and hospitality which they very kindly sponsored and supplied free of charge and also giving us the use of a top class venue in Aubane Community Centre,to the People of Aubane who helped on the day and made us so welcome and also allowed us the use of there properties for parking as well we thank you very much,to Sheila Fitzgerald

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Car and Tractor Run happening this Sunday August 17th in Aubane supporting Aubane Community Centre

All Roads lead to Aubane tomorrow for the Blackwater Valley Vintage Car Run and Pre-1995 Vintage Tractor Run happening on this Sunday August 17th on what will be the Groups Final Event for 2025 which is in aid of the upkeep and maintenance of Aubane Community Centre.

The Aubane Community Centre Crew look after us very well as a Group and on next Sunday for our Vintage Tractor/ Car Run and in appreciation for us supporting them on our Event they will be giving complimentary Tea/Scones etc at Sign On and on Return to the Centre for the Finish of the Event there will be a Complimentary Cold Plate for all Entrants as well and also we have Sheila Fitzgerald giving us Musical Entertainment at the Finish,there will also be Spot Prizes and a free Draw on the Day also.

Registration is from 10.30am with Take Off at 12.30pm at Aubane Community Centre with the Event finishing back in Aubane Community Centre Eircode P51 EP49.

Thanks from Blackwater Valley Vintage Group for supporting Bumbleance Childrens Ambulance Service

A Presentation was made on Wednesday Evening July 16th to BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service following the recent Bumbleance Car Run organised by Blackwater Valley Vintage Group and headed by Declan Ryan,the Fundraising Event was a Giant Effort between Cork Music Station and BlackwaterValleyVintageGroup,an Impressive Total of €3,685,00 was the Final Amount collected following the Car Run and the CMS Go Fund Me Page Donation Campaign and BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service Volunteer Richard Walsh was on hand to accept this fantastic amount of Money from Declan Ryan and Crew at a Presentation held at the Boeing Car Park by the Blackwater just outside Millstreet,Richard was absolutely delighted with the Presentation to Bumbleance which does incredible work for very ill Children and said the Donation would be be very beneficial in continuing to keep this Vital Service on the Road,Declan Ryan thanked everyone that supported the Cause and helped in anyway at all to make the Fundraiser the success that it was,Group Members and Friends along with some Vintage and Classic Cars were on hand to add there support at the Presentation to what is a very Worthy Cause.

Following the Presentation the Group adjourned to Colemans Centra Millstreet for Refreshments and we thank Mary and John Coleman and all the Crew for there warm welcome and generosity.

Millstreet Vintage Club Cheque presentation to Brain Tumour Ireland proceeds from Eircode Challenge event This was MVC first year running this event and participants enjoyed the day. Karen from Brain Tumour Ireland thanked everyone who showed their support towards the charity. Donie the Clerk of the Course thanked all MVC members for their help, all participants for attending, Daly Family & anyone else that made this such a successful day. Huge thank you to Noreen & staff of Cafe Aroma for opening this evening and also for all her work on the day of the event.

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group supporting The Men’s Shed Millstreet with a Vintage Tractor/Van/Light Comercial Run on Sunday July 27th

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group are running a Vintage Tractor (Pre-1995 Models) and Light Comercials/Van/Camper/Jeep Run (Pre-2005 Models) on Sunday July 27th.

The Event which is in aid of the Men’s Shed Millstreet will be based out of Aubane Community Centre Eircode (P51 EP49) with Sign on from 10.30am and Take Off at 12.30pm.
 Refreshments will be available at Sign On in Aubane with a Scenic Route promised and the Run will finish at the Pub Carriganima where Food will be available and there will be a bit of Music Song and Dance as well laid on for everyone to enjoy at the finish, so if you have a Jeep,Van,Camper Pick Up Truck or whatever be it a working Vehicle or a Show Example dated from 2005 or older as well as all Vintage Pre 1995 Tractors we would love to have you come along for the spin.

Summer Sunshine shines favourably for The Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Summer Evening Car Run

The Summer Weather came out in force for The Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Summer Car Run held on last Saturday Evening where 75 Cars signed on for
the Event which was in Aid of BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service,the starting point was the Cullen Community Centre where the Bumbleance Ambulance was also on display.

The Cars left Cullen just after 6pm and made there way on a Scenic Route up to Knocknagree and then on to Ballydesmond, Sugan Road,Cordal and over to Castleisland before heading out the Abbeyfeale Road and then turning left and heading up into some spectacular views of the Countryside that brought the Cars down into the Finish at O`Riadas Bar and Restuarant near Ballymacelligott, the weather played its part being most favourable for the occasion where the views on the Countryside travelled never dissappoint particularly on a fine Summer Evening and once we reached the finish this was followed by Refreshments and Musical Entertainment supplied by Sheila Conor Brosnan Barry O Halloran Sheila Heery and Tim Joe and Anne O’Riordan.

At the Finish of the Event the BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service Vehicle was again on display at O Riadas Bar Ballymacelligott and a viewing of this very impressive Vehicle gives a person an idea of the great Work and Service this voluntary group carry out for seriously ill Children.

There was an open draw made before the start of the Run in Cullen for a Shield sponsored by Cork Music Station and this was won by Ray Corkery in his Toyota Corolla.

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group and Event Organiser Declan Ryan would like to thank everyone who came along to the Event, your support was tremendous and much appreciated,a big shout out must go out to the People that helped out on Saturday Evening
which helped make the Event a great success, to all the Marshalls, Bike Marshalls, Registration/Sign On, Route Layout/Arrowing Crew, the hardworking Catering Crew in Cullen etc many many thanks for all your help, also thanks must go out to An Garda Siochana,Cullen Community Centre, Sheila Fitzgerald of The Corkman, John Tarrant of the Corkman, Discover Duhallow Magazine O`Riadas for great Food and Hospitality, Photographers and Media People, also many thanks to all the people that donated great Spot Prizes for our Raffles and we congratulate all the winners of Spot Prizes on the Evening, and we hope everybody enjoyed the Music Song and Dance at the Finish in O’Riadas.

Today is the day for the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Summer Evening Car Run for BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service which is taking place on this Saturday Evening June 14th, Declan Ryan is heading this Event and Declan and all the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Team welcome you to Cullen Community Centre Eircode (P51 YY06) where Sign on will be from 4.30pm with Take Off at 6pm.

Refreshments will be served at Registration with a great Starters Prize and Spot Prizes to be Won.

All Vintage/Classic Cars Bikes Vans etc are very Welcome to join us.

MVC Cars & Coffee Thank You

Millstreet Vintage Club held Cars & Coffee @ the Castle and an unbelievable day was had with an impressive display of vehicles. All proceeds for Kerry Mountain Rescue.

Aidan Dennehy & MVC would like to thank the following people: Duggan family for the use of a fabulous venue, everyone that attended the event- an impressive amount of cars, general public for coming & showing their support, Facecook catering, Alfie of the ice cream van, lady of the face painting & balloon modelling, Premier Motorsport Collection and D&D detailing.

There is just under a week left to go now to the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Summer Evening Car Run for BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service which is taking place next Saturday Evening June 14th, Declan Ryan is heading this Event and Declan and all the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Team welcome you to Cullen Community Centre Eircode (P51 YY06) where Sign on will be from 4.30pm with Take Off at 6pm.

Refreshments will be served at Registration with a great Starters Prize and Spot Prizes to be Won.

All Vintage/Classic Cars Bikes Vans etc are very Welcome to join us.

So why not head over to Cullen Community Centre on Saturday Evening June 14th and help support a great cause and come along for a spin as well to our destination which is O’Riadas Bar Ballymacelligot where we will have Free Food and Music plus more Spot Prizes to be Won on the Night,we would love to have your Company.

Cars @ The Castle Sunday 8th June

Final countdown is on with only days to go until Millstreet Vintage Club Cars & Coffee @ the Castle taking place on Sunday 8th June at Drishane Castle, Millstreet (P51 C798) from 10:30am to 2:00pm.
All proceeds going to Kerry Mountain Rescue.

All Vintage, Classic, Modified Cars, Bikes, Tractors, Vans etc are very Welcome
€10 entry per car. Cash & card accepted on the day.
Cork Car Scene & Red Bull will be attending on the day.

Food on site including tea/coffee & ice cream. Along with face painting & balloon modelling and much more to see on the day.

Everyone is invited to attend to see the spectacular grounds of Drishane & enjoy the atmosphere.

The time is getting closer to the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Summer Evening Car Run for BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service which is taking place on Saturday Evening June 14th, Declan Ryan is heading this Event and Declan and all the Blackwater Valley Vintage Group Team welcome you to Cullen Vommunity Centre Eircode (P51 YY06) where Sign on will be from 4.30pm with Take off at 6pm,there will be Refreshments available at the Start with a nice starters Prize and some great Spot Prizes to be Won as well and at the Finish in O’Riadas Bar and Restaurant in Ballymacelligot there will be Free Food and Live Music to finish the Evening off.
