A family of 4 is seeking a 3-bed house, in Millstreet

I am a Family Support worker working with Families & Children in International Protection and Direct Provision who have been given their 90-day IPAS notice to find alternative accommodation.
I was wondering if you could possibly put up the below post for me anonymously.
“A family of 4 is seeking a 3-bed house, in Millstreet.
3 Children are settled in Schools and Sports clubs in the town.
Mum is heavily involved in the community also.
She will be returning to education at UCC in September so the train station will be perfect for her commute.

Wonderful Musical Event in Ballyvourney This Sat. at 8pm

We thank Margaret and Michael Dennehy, Geararoe, Millstreet for the very interesting link about a Concert in Ballyvourney this Saturday night. The group are made up of the Cotter family from Ennis.  Geraldine Cotter was a music teacher in Millstreet Community School in the early to mid-1980s. Most likely, many of her Past-Pupils might well wish to see Geraldine and her Family perform at this very special event  at the Ionad Cultúrtha in Baile Mhúirne on Sat. 11th May at 8pm.  (S.R.)

Matthew Healy Memorial – Fund Raising Event

Hi All,

As you may be aware my 6 year old little boy Matthew was murdered on the 9th of February earlier this year.  Matthew was my only child and I am completely heartbroken as a result of his death, however we did have a wonderful 6 years together, for which I will be forever grateful. Matthew was an intelligent, articulate, funny and socially conscious little lad, he was an absolute pleasure to be with, and it was the greatest honor and privilege of my life to have been his dad.

The loss Matthew has suffered is enormous, is absolute, and final, everything has been stolen from him in this life. The only thing I can do for him now in this life is to honor his memory and to bring as much positivity in his name as possible despite all the devastation and destruction. Therefore, to celebrate and honor Matthew we are planning to do a number of things in the future, the first of which is to take place in Watergrasshill village (details below) on the 19th of May to celebrate his birthday, for which he would have turned 7 years old on the previous Friday the 17th of May. We are holding a motorbike and vintage car run with music etc afterwards with all proceeds and donations going to Make A Wish, a charity which reflects Matthew’s fun and adventurous character.
I would appreciate your support with this fundraiser, you can donate via the link below or on the day if you are attending the event, everyone is welcome. I would also appreciate it if you could forward this to your own list of contacts, your support is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
James Healy

Eily’s Report – 7th May

Dia is Mhuire dióbh go léir a cairde and welcome to my Report.

The sun is making a fine appearance as the merry month of May rolls on.  Dramatic sun-downs light up the evening skies like never before. The recent setting sun threw up a variety of scenes as it skimmed over the highs and lows of the landscape. Scenes to be admired and captured on camera to be treasured again and again and shared with those who missed them. The system played a thick on me leading me to think that I was with the fairies. I took a fine image of Sundays evenings sun-down from inside my conservatory window my back to the tv. The picture came out great showing the full volume of the bright orange clouds high over Clara Mountain but to my dismay on checking my handiwork I got a shock to see the face of a weird looking man inside my wall looking straight at me. The  world of the supernatural, sprang to mind as I slammed my phone shut to give myself time to think, not always easy when you’re on your own. Then I steadied myself and opened it up again. Only to find that the mystery man’s face was a reflection from the television which was in the room behind me. Ahhh, the relief. Welcome and all as the sun may be please take good care to cover up well. The hot rays on the sun are really very burning as I found out first hand. So please wear good sun-block.
