On January 14th, 2025, peacefully, in his 94th year, in the exceptional, tender and loving care of the staff of Kanturk Community Hospital and surrounded by his loving family, John (Jack) former Livestock Haulier and farmer in his beloved birthplace of Kilcolman, cherished father of Eileen (McSweeney), Anne (Murphy), Siobhán (O’Farrell), Sheila (Clernon), Patsy Jones (O’Leary), John and their mother Anne Jones.

Sadly missed by his loving family,his adored grandchildren Clodagh, Jack, Cian, Niall, Katie, Séamus, Ellen, Rachel, Conor, Brandon, Rebecca, Aisling, Vy Ha, Mahilet and Megan, his great-grandson’s Fionn, Callum and baby Jake, brother Stephen, sons-in-law Donal, Brendan, Ciarán, James and Conor, daughter-in-law Eileen, brother-in-law Vincent, sister-in-law Sheila, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and great friends.

Timothy passed away suddenly at his home on January 12th 2025. Beloved son of the late Matty and Julia (O’Brien). Dear brother of Hugh, Nora (Jennings) , Matt and the late Hannah Mary (O’Riordan). THE FUNERAL WILL GO AHEAD ON MONDAY 6TH AS PLANNED, BUT THE FAMILY DO NOT EXPECT OR ASK PEOPLE TO TRAVEL. THE MONTH’S MIND MASS WILL BE A MEMORIAL SERVICE (DETAILS TO FOLLOW LATER) WHEN THERE WILL BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO MEET WITH THE FAMILY.

On January 3rd 2024, peacefully in Tralee University Hospital, surrounded by his devoted family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sheila.

Late of Newtown, Tramore, Co. Waterford and formerly of Millstreet, Co. Cork.

Jerry passed peacefully in University Hospital Waterford in the arms of his beloved wife, Mary.

Friday the 27th of December 2024 RIP.

Jerry will be desperately missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife, Mary, his loving and much loved children Caroline, Kathy and Jerry; his grandchildren Hannah, Harry and Hugo; his son-in-law John. His brothers and sisters Jack, Mary, Catherine and Denis. He will be sadly missed by Seán. He will be forever missed by all his extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many many great friends.

Waterford, followed, later that day with a cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co.Cork at 6pm. Nora B. “Noreen” (née Murphy) Nixon, sadly passed away on Sunday October 27, 2024 at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home, Albany, New York.

Born in Glouthane, Cullen, Co. Cork.   In addition to her parents Philip and Mary Murphy, Noreen was predeceased by her husband George Nixon and siblings Adam, and Michael Murphy, Ciss (Mary) O’Mahoney, Eileen Cremin and Elizabeth Ryan.

She is survived by her children John (Brenda) Nixon, Maureen Nixon, Nancy (Duane) Winters, Noel (Carolee) Nixon and Eileen (Kyle) Walsh; grandchildren Erin (Brandon), Brendan (Bessie), Aidan, Kerrigan, Scott (Kayla), Seán (Sarah), Evan, Garett, Liam, Caleigh and Nora (Kevin); great-grandchildren Blake and Logan; her brother Jerry Murphy and sister Helen Boyle; and many nieces and nephews.

She will be reposing on Friday November 1, 2024 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany, New York. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday November 2, 2024 at 9am at St. Francis of Assisi Church (formerly St. James Church) 391 Delaware Ave, Albany, New York.
