The death has occurred of Jerry Barrett, Compsey Cottage, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Killowen, Millstreet, Co. Cork. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anna, his parents Mary Ellen and Tom, and his brothers Tom and Donal. Jerry passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff of University Hospital Waterford. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving daughters Angela and Oonagh, his son Tony, his brother Tony, grandchildren Ella, Laura, Róisín, Emma, Sarah, Piarais, Patrick, Michael and Johnny, daughter-in-law Monica, sons-in-law Mike and PJ, sisters-in-law Ann and Babs, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Died on Wednesday, 1st April 2026, peacefully in the care of the staff of Good Counsel Nursing Home.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle Dinneen, Derrinagree, County Cork on March 11th 2026.

Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary Dinneen.

Deeply regretted by her sisters Siobhán and Marie, her brother Peter, brothers-in-law John O’Connor and John Brosnan, sister-in-law Maria Dinneen, aunts Joan Mitchell and Nora McMorrow, nephew Danny, nieces Niamh and Saoirse, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

John O’Mahony, Coonagh Road, Clondrinagh, Limerick and late of Cloghoulabeg, Millstreet, Co. Cork. 9th March, 2026, following a long illness bravely borne, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

His varied career spread from being a Garda in William Street, a Steeplejack installing radomes in over 80 different countries, radome manufacturing in Esso Collins, Kilkishen to building a golf course in Clonlara, Co. Clare.

Beloved husband and best friend for 60 years of Angela and dearly loved father of Susan, John, Martina and Hilda. Sadly missed by his loving sons-in-law Séamus, Ian and Noely, grandchildren, brothers Tommy, Timmy, Donie, sisters Sheila, Nora-Mary, Mary and Breda, nephews, nieces, extended family, work colleagues, neighbours and friends.
