**On a recent full day tour of Millstreet our wonderful visitors from Bandon History Society were delighted to meet with Noel C. Duggan at Tubrid Holy Well.**

Celebrating his 65th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood on 19th June 1960, Fr. Paddy O’Byrne of West End, Millstreet offered Mass at Tubrid Holy Well on 19th June 2025 before a large attendance.

The wonderfully dedicated Coordinators of the hugely successful Millstreet Busking Festival held on 21st June which included the very valuable input of IRD Duhhallow’s “One Day in the Region” annual project.

John Dineen planted the official tree marking the recent 50th Anniversary of Aubane Community Centre followed by an afternoon of celebration on Sunday, 22nd June. Also included are (from left): Paddy Murphy, Kathleen Kelleher, Noreen Kelleher, John F. Kelleher, Denis Kelleher and Gerdi Buckley.

Historian supreme, Jack Lane (seated on extreme right, front row, with notes in hand) delivered a truly inspiring talk to a very appreciative audience at Aubane Community Centre on Saturday, 21st June – marking the 50th Anniversary of Aubane Community Centre.

Easter Sunday 2025 saw the outstanding annual Rás na Mumhan Cycle Race Challenge passing through Millstreet – pictured here at the Tanyard about to make the ascent up Tullig Hill on their way to the Kerryman’s Table in Mushera.

On Easter Sunday evening 2025 at Kiskeam Community Centre, Con Herbert of Ashford, Co. Limerick was especially honoured with a magnificent “Art on Slate” presentation by Cllr. Bernard Moynihan and members of the O’Keeffe Family in recognition of his truly splendid contribution not only to the Annual Maurice O’Keeffe Traditional Music Festival but to the wonderful world of traditional music in the overall Sliabh Luachra and Co. Limerick areas…and beyond. Con is pictured here with many of his music colleagues from Co. Limerick for whom he has been a brilliant Instructor. They performed magnificently during the excellent Concert in Kiskeam this past Easter Sunday evening.
