Millstreet Vintage Club AGM Report 2023

Millstreet Vintage Club held a very successful AGM at The Parish Centre in Millstreet on Wednesday Night Dec 6th last, the Meeting had a strong Attendance and at the Meeting Dan O`Riordan Club Secretary outlined and recapped on what was the most successful and busiest year to date for the Club in 2023,over the past year a staggering €26,840.60 was raised by the Club for various Charitable Organisations with many great events being held including highly successful Car Runs, Tractor Runs,Cars/Chat/Coffee Mornings etc taking place with these Events benefitting Charitable Organisations like Alzheimhers Society Ireland, Bumbleance for Children, CART Rural Transport Carriganima, Millstreet Day Care Centre, St Josephs Foundation and St Francis Special School Beaufort.
Myra Sheehan Club Treasurer gave a detailed Financial Report for the year gone while outgoing Club Chairman Dan Barry in his address thanked all Club Members, Fellow Committee Members and anyone else who helped and supported the Club during the Course of the past year.

On the Night also we had 2 very interesting Guest Speakers in Club Vice President Sean Radley and Seargent Paul Lynch who both gave very interesting and informative Speeches.

Following this a New Committee for the Club was Elected as Follows:

Millstreet Vintage Club AGM happening on next Wednesday December 6th 2023, Everybody Very Welcome to Attend

Millstreet Vintage Club Annual AGM will take place on next Wednesday December 6th 2023 in the Parish Centre Millstreet at 8.15pm sharp.All Club Members and anyone out there interested in Vintage/Classic Cars and Tractors are asked to attend,New Members are always very welcome to join the Club.

 

Very Successful Millstreet Vintage Club AGM held on Wed Night December 7th last

Millstreet Vintage Club held a very successful AGM at The Parish Centre in Millstreet on Wednesday Night Dec 7th last, the Meeting had a strong Attendance and at the Meeting Dan O`Riordan Club Secretary outlined and recapped on a very successful and busy year for the Club in 2022 and also the Challenges that the Club faced during the 2020/2021 period caused by the emergence of the Covid 19 Pandemic which virtually brought the Club to a complete standstill, but from the latter end of 2021 onwards the Club re-emerged stronger than ever with many great events being held over the past year including highly successful Car Runs, Tractor Runs, Cars/Chat/Coffee Mornings etc taking place and as a result the Club raised over €19,599.56 along the way during the year as well for some very worthy Charities and Organisations including Alzheimhers Society Ireland, Bumbleance for Children, CART Rural Transport Carriganima, Irish Red Cross, Cullen National School Mallow Day Care Centre and Millstreet Museum and Website.
Myra Sheehan Club Treasurer gave a detailed Financial Report for the year gone and also for the 2 previous years affected by the Covid19 Pandemic while Club Chairman Dan Barry in his address thanked all Club Members, Fellow Committee Members and anyone else who helped and supported the Club during the Course of the past year.

Millstreet Active Retirement Association AGM Wed. 16th Feb at 7pm in Canon O’Donovan Centre

Millstreet Active Retirement Association will hold AGM on Wednesday 16thFebruary 2022 at 7.00p.m. in Canon O’Donovan Centre.  New members welcome.  Registration fee will be collected on the night €20.

Millstreet Vintage Club AGM Report 2019

Millstreet Vintage Club held a very successful AGM at The Parish Centre in Millstreet on last Thursday Night Dec 5th
with a strong Attendance who heard Dan O`Riordan Club Secretary outlining and recapping on a very successful and busy year for the Club in 2019 with many great events being held over the year including a highly successful Charity Truck Run,Car Runs,Tractor Runs, Barbeque,Cars/Chat/Coffee Mornings,Model Show etc taking place and as a result the Club raised over €22,000 along the way during the year as well for some very worthy Charities including Alzheimhers, Millstreet Pipe Band,Cullen Pipe Band,Cork Simon,Bumbulance for Children,CART Rural Transport Carriganima and ICRR Air Ambulance.

Myra Sheehan Club Treasurer gave a detailed Financial Report for the year gone by while Club Chairman Donie Lucey in his address thanked all Club Members,Fellow Committee Members and anyone else who helped and supported the Club during the Course of the year gone by.

AGM of Millstreet & District Housing Association

The AGM of Millstreet & District Housing Association (Millstreet Day Centre) will take place on Wednesday 11th December @ 7.30pm in the Day Centre. Millstreet Credit Union

Due to our AGM being held in the Hibernian Hotel next Monday night 28th January, 2019 at 8.00pm, the Millstreet Credit Union office will not open on Monday night. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

A free bus is being organised to take members to the AGM at 7.00pm from the Square in Millstreet. Please book a place on the bus by contacting the credit union at <bfitzgerald@mallowcu.ie>, on 029-70764 or with one of our staff at the counter. We request that you book your place on the bus by lunchtime on Friday 25th January, 2019.

Following on from Millstreet Vintage Clubs first ever Weekend Away/Car Run to West Cork/ Bantry held over the past Weekend the Club have a number of important Events happening in December and into the New Year listed below.

Millstreet Vintage Club Christmas Party on Saturday Night Dec 8th at Corkerys Bar in Millstreet, Kicks Off from 9pm. Everybody Welcome.

Presentation of the Proceeds from the Recent Tractor Run for CART organised by Millstreet Vintage Club will be held at the Pub in Carriganima on Saturday December 15th at 9pm Refreshments will be served,Everybody Welcome.

Millstreet Vintage Club Annual AGM will take place on Thursday 10th January 2019 in the Millstreet Parish Centre at 8.00pm sharp. All Club Members please Attend and anyone out there interested in Vintage/Classic Cars/Bikes and Tractors are more than welcome to come along to the Meeting and join our Club.
