🚜🚗 A HUGE THANK YOU FROM BLACKWATER VALLEY VINTAGE GROUP! 🚗🚜

Blackwater Valley Vintage Group would like to extend a massive THANK YOU to everyone who travelled to Aubane on Sunday for our Vintage Car & Tractor Run, held in aid of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland

What a fantastic day it was! 🙌

The support we received was absolutely incredible, and we could not have put on such a successful event without the help and support of so many wonderful people.

 

⭐ AUBANE COMMUNITY CENTRE & CATERING CREW

A huge thank you to the Catering Crew in Aubane, who once again looked after us brilliantly with top-class food, refreshments and hospitality.

We really appreciate everything you did for us, as well as kindly allowing us the use of the fantastic Aubane Community Centre.

To the people of Aubane, thank you for making us feel so welcome and for all your help throughout the day.

A special thank you to Shane O’Donoughue and Michael Buckley, who very kindly allowed us the use of their properties for parking.

 

🍺🎶 THE PUB, CARRIGANIMA

A big shout-out to Sean Murphy and his crew at The Pub Carriganima for having us as our base for the finish of the event.

A special thank you to Yanks Chipper, who catered for us so well at the finish.

And to Tim Joe & Anne, thank you for the fantastic music at The Pub and for helping to create a brilliant atmosphere to round off the day. 🎶👏

 

🏍️ MARSHALLS & SIGN-ON CREW

To our Bike Marshall Seanie and all our Marshalls out on the route, we simply could not have run the event without you.

Your help in keeping everything moving safely and smoothly was greatly appreciated.

A big thank you also to our hardworking Sign-On Crew, who kept everything organised and the paperwork in order throughout the day.

This was one of our busiest events since Blackwater Valley Vintage Group got up and running just over two years ago, and we are absolutely delighted with the response.

Your continued support means so much to us, and we hope you enjoyed your day out with us as much as we enjoyed having you there.

We were extremely proud to be able to hold our Vintage Car & Tractor Run in aid of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, supporting the fantastic work they do for individuals, families and communities throughout Ireland.

This is a cause that is very close to the hearts of many people, and we were delighted to be able to use our event to help raise awareness and support for the wonderful work carried out by the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Lena Cleary from the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, who took the time to come to Aubane yesterday and speak to us about the organisation and the vital work they carry out.

Lena gave us a wonderful insight into the services, support and assistance provided by the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, and it was greatly appreciated by everyone involved.

It was particularly important for us to hear first-hand about the difference this fantastic organisation makes to so many people and their families. We are delighted that our event could play a small part in supporting such an important cause.
