Millstreet Vintage Club Tractor Run held last Sunday

Millstreet Vintage Club held a Tractor Run last Sunday in aid of the Millstreet Pitch and Putt Club,the Event was based out of the Canon O`Donovan Centre in Millstreet and both Dan O`Riordan and Danny Lane laid on a very Scenic Route to the West of the Town but unfortunately on the day the poor Weather conditions that prevailed didn’t show off the wonderful scenery that was to be found along the Route, but despite the weather the Event was enjoyed by the Participants and organiser Dan O`Riordan would like to thank everyone that took part and gave there support and says thanks to all the Marshals who stood out in awful weather to keep the Event running smoothly,as well as that also Dan would like to thank Mick Duggan and Ita Fitzgerald for keeping the Event on track and the road clear for the Tractors along the route and also to the Crew at sign on for all there help and to the Media and Photographers for there support and finally to all the crew at the Canon O`Donovan Centre for looking after everyone so well and for the use of there facility last Sunday, we hope you had a great day out and we look forward to your company again very soon.

Millstreet Vintage Club makes Presentation to Millstreet Day Care Centre

A Presentation was
made on Tuesday Evening April 25th last to Millstreet Day Care Centre by Millsteeet Vintage Club following the Charity Tractor Run that the Club ran for the Centre back on Sunday 26th February last,an astounding €1,918.40 was the proceeds from the Tractor Run and both Marie O’Sullivan of Millstreet Day Care Centre and Chairman of the Day Care Centre Derry Morley
thanked everyone at Millstreet Vintage Club for organising a resoundingly successful
and most entertaining Event,they both went on to say Funds made on the Event will be put to great use in further development to make improvements to what is already a top class facility serving the Town of Millstreet and the Neighbouring Locality around it.

The Presentation on the Night of the Proceeds from the Event was made by Millstreet Vintage Club President Jack Sheehan.

Great Turnout for Millstreet Vintage Club Charity Tractor Run in Aid of Millstreet Day Care Centre on Sunday

Millstreet Vintage Club held a most successful Tractor Run on Sunday February 26 last in Millstreet in aid of Millstreet Day Care (Canon O’Donovan Centre),the Club wish to thank everyone for the fantastic support received at the Event with an impressive 70 Tractors taking to the Road just after 12.30pm with the Run leaving Millstreet and taking in some great Countryside Views in the Duhallow Region before crossing over the Border into the Kingdom of Kerry as it transversed close to Rathmore before looping back on a similar but slightly different Route to return back to Millstreet over an hour and a half later,the Weather was kind as well for the occasion and Clerks of the Course Dan O’Riordan and Danny Lane wish to thank all the Marshals for keeping the Event Run smoothly on the Road and in helping to co-ordinate Parking etc,also many thanks to Mick Duggan and his Co-Pilot Willie Fitzgerald along with Bike Marshalls Seanie Kelleher and Anthony Kelleher for leading the Tractors out on the Road and keeping the Run progress so smoothly,to the Hardworking Crew at Sign On and to the Media and Photographers for covering the Event also many thanks to All the Crew at the Millstreet Day Centre for providing the Venue and Great Hospitality at Sign On,also thanks to An Garda Siochana and Cork County Council for there help,the Club would like to Thank our Sponsors who provided Spot Prizes for the Draw,the Prizes were Sponsored by Colemans Millstreet,Tim Lucey Car Sales,Dan Barry Crash Repairs,Dan and Mary O’Riordan,Danny Lane,John Cooper Tractors and Millstreet Motor Factors and finally Millstreet Vintage Club want to thank Everyone for the great Turn Out and Support received from the Public on the day,it is very much appreciated.

All Vintage/Classic/Modified Cars Bikes Vans etc are very Welcome to come along and the General Public are encouraged as well to come along for a look as there promises to be some nice Vehicles
on Display.

Wonderfully Successful Tractor Run in Carriganima on Sunday

With some 58 Tractors travelling in the annual Tractor Run in Carriganima on Sunday, 16th Sept. 2018 – C.A.R.T. in Carriganima and Millstreet Vintage Club were very pleased with the superb success of the event.  Here we share the first two of many images from the very impressive event.  Lots more pictures later.  Click on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)

Ned Tarrant Memorial Tractor Run

“We would like to thank everyone for coming to support the Tractor Run in aid of Mallow Search and Rescue on Sunday which raised an amazing €10,000 so far. 💸💰 It was a brilliant day which can be attributed to the beautiful weather and massive crowds that turned out to support this very worthy cause. 💪🏼 With over 230 tractors in attendance on the day it was bound to be a success. 🚜🚜 We would like to thank everyone involved in organising the event including Banteer Macra and members of the Kilcorney community. We want to thank everyone who helped on the day from stewarding, directing traffic to collecting money and selling raffle tickets. We would also like to thank everyone who sponsored prizes on the day and donated to the cause. 🚜🚜 Only three days to go until the Ned Tarrant Memorial Tractor Run which will take place on Sunday the 29th of April 📅 It is in aid of Mallow Search and Rescue. Great Turnout for CART Tractor Run in Carriganima on Sunday

Millstreet Vintage Club held a very well supported Tractor Run on Sunday last in Carriganima in aid of the CART Rural Transport Service, the weather was superb on the day and close on 70 Tractors took to the road and made their way through what was a lovely route which included a stop at Moll Carthy’s Bridge for a short halt with the Run, then making its way back to the finish at The Pub in Carriganima, where a Barbeque and Refreshments was enjoyed by all. Many thanks from CART Carriganima and Millstreet Vintage Club for the great turn out and support on the day.
