The death has occurred of Eileen Moynihan (née Flynn), Ballydaly, Millstreet, Cork.

On the 26th January, in the loving care of the staff of St Joseph’s Bon Secours Care Village, Cork. Predeceased by her late husband Tim, son Tadhg and daughter in law Kathleen. Loving mother of Philip, Willie Joe, Mary, John, Eleanor, Denis, Thomas and Dan. Dear sister of Biddy and Sr Ita Marie and the late Sr Gertrude, sister Mary and brother John. Sadly missed by her sister in law Olive, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. May She Rest In Peace. [rip]

In accordance with current government guidelines, Eileen’s funeral Mass will take place privately at St Patrick’s Church, Millstreet, on Thursday 28th at 12 noon and burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Funeral Mass may be viewed at churchservices.tv/millstreet

Kathleen O’Sullivan (née Looney), Gortavehy

The death has occurred of Kathleen O’Sullivan (née Looney), Gortavehy, Ballydaly, Millstreet, Cork. On January 24th 2021, peacefully in the wonderful care of Margaret and staff of Millstreet Community Hospital, predeceased by her husband Bob and sister Ciss. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons Seamus and John, daughter Genie, brother Jimmy, daughter-in-law Breeda, grandsons Robbie and Daniel, nephew, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. [rip]

In accordance with current government guidelines, Kathleen’s Requiem Mass will take place privately on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Timothy Joe Kiely, Ballydaly

The death has occurred of Timothy Joe Kiely, Ballydaly, Millstreet, Cork. On January 8th 2021, peacefully, at Tralee University Hospital after a short illness. Loving husband of Mary, sadly missed by his sons Ray and John Paul, daughters Annette and Martina, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, brother, sisters and his late bother Fintan, relatives, good neighbours and friends. In line with the current government restrictions Timothy Joe’s Funeral Mass will be private for family only on Monday at 10am in St Patrick’s Church, Millstreet and burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery. The death has occurred of Seamus Murphy, Ballydaly, Millstreet, Co. Cork. Seamus passed away peacefully on 8th of December 2020. The death has occurred on Monday 11th May 2020 of Connie O’Connor, of Knocknagurrane, Cullen. On May 7th, 2020, peacefully in the loving care of nurses and staff at University Hospital Kerry, Jerry (in his 96th year), predeceased by his wife Kitty (née Scannell) and his daughther Judy. Aubane Community Centre and Ballydaly Community Hall are two of three hundred locations across Ireland to get high-speed internet hubs while they await the arrival of the National Broadband Plan (NBP). National Broadband Ireland (NBI), said it will deploy “broadband connection points”, where the public can get free high-speed internet access, across the country from the second quarter of next year (2020). Hands for Life – Free Community CPR Training – run by the Irish Heart Foundation will be held in Ballydaly Hall on, Tuesday, November 26th from 8pm – 9pm. Admission is free.

Topics covered include: what to do in an emergency e.g heart attack, cardiac arrest (compression/defibrillator) stroke, choking etc.
