Millstreet Railway Station was heavily upgraded in 1993 for the Eurovision Song Contest seeing the lengthened of the main (down) platform, the removal of the island platform, and the decommissioning of the loop track. Below are some photos of that time:

The sunsets at the moment continue to amaze – Alan sent us this one of the sunlight from the setting sun hitting St.Mary’s graveyard, and the Deer Park above it. A few minutes earlier, Tom was in St. Mary’s taking this:

This little guy wandered into our home on Saturday during the thunder and lightning in the Cullen / Derinagree area. He’s a very friendly and affectionate dog especially around children so must be a family pet. Please call/text me on 0879225121 if you recognise him.
