Fitzgerald Family Gathering in Cullen

2013-08 Fitzgerald Family Gathering in Cullen

Brendan Fitzgerald from Cullen was back from Canada in August with his wife Maureen, son Sean, wife Sharon, Grandchildren Luke and Jack, to visit his brothers and their families. Celebrated the year of the Gathering at the original home of the Fitzgerald Family with most of the Fitzgeralds. What an amazing year to visit Ireland —- glorious weather and the most wonderful scenery in the world! It was the trip of a lifetime.

Would love if you could include this picture in the Clara news, but so sad to hear that is being discontinued – Maureen Fitzgerald

Celebrating Cork’s Red and White at The Square…Thanks to Kind Sponsor

From left - Jeremiah Keating, Tony McCaul, Denis and Eric Hickey superbly arrange a wonderful Cork colours display of several flags at The Square,Millstreet on Tuesday night (3rd Sept. 2013). It was Deputy Áine Collins, T.D. who sponsored this very impressive feature in support of Cork in next Sunday's All-Ireland Hurling Final in Croke Park. Denis's encouragement to celebrate the occasion especially as Mark Ellis is on the Cork Team - is certainly gaining momentum as we note an increasing number of new displays appearing.
