Millstreet is First in its Category in tonight’s Anti-Litter Awards

Derry Sheehan of Millstreet Tidy Towns Association just communicated the wonderfully uplifting news that Millstreet has just come first in its category in Co. Cork Anti-litter Awards. Sincere congratulations to the many very dedicated people who have helped to achieve such a prestigious Award. And who knows perhaps that in Monday's All-Ireland Tidy Towns Awards in Dublin Millstreet might receive further uplifting news...let's hope that whatever happens there it will provide inspiring encouragement. The beauty of Millstreet was projected briefly on "Nationwide" on Wednesday night - The complete feature on Millstreet Country Park will air on RTÉ One's "Nationwide" at 7.00 pm this Friday, 6th Sept. 2013. 1. Well done Noreen Dennehy and all the other tidy towns members and all who volunteered throughout the summer. Millstreet Town is looking better than ever…
