Volunteer Announcement for the repair of computers

This is to announce to the people living in Millstreet, that there is a volunteer that has decided to volunteer his professional services to the people of Millstreet. He is a Professional at Computer repairs, and wishes to avail these skills set to the good people of Millstreet.

Anybody having a bad computer can bring it for repairs or professional advice. This service is completely free. This service has become necessary owing to the fact that, Millstreet has provided love and accommodation to us in our time of need.

2015-03-22 Chloe Collins tackles Emma Kennedy in the U16A Munster Camogie FinalPictured (right) is Chloé Collins tackling a Clare defender in the U16 A Munster Camogie Championship Final yesterday in Charleville.

Chloé was playing at #10, but on the day Cork where  outclassed by Clare and lost on a scoreline of 1-9 to 1-4.

Horizon feature the Active Lenten Programme on Radio Kerry

Millstreet Community Schools Active Lenten Programme was featured on The Horizons radio show which aired on Radio Kerry yesterday morning from 9am to 10am (Sunday March 22nd). Noreen Moynihan interviewed school chaplin John Magee and the students about the activities (Fair Trade, Climate Change, Language and Culture) that have been taking place in the school in the last few weeks.

Millstreet Local Lotto Biggest Ever Win – Congratulations to Michael

Members of Millstreet Local Lotto assembled in the Wallis Arms Hotel on Sunday, 22nd March 2015 to make the official presentation of the biggest win ever at €18,000.00 to Michael Walsh of Sally's Cross, Kanturk. At the recent AGM of Millstreet Lotto it was revealed that €90,000 within the past years was equally distributed between Millstreet Town Park, Millstreet GAA and Millstreet Youth Amenity Fund as well as €39,260.00 given out in prizes - Now that's seriously impressive!  Well done to the inspiringly dedicated Millstreet Lotto Committee.
