On Tuesday (14th April 2020), Wednesday,  Thursday and Friday at 10.00am (live).

Also on Sunday, 19th April at 11.30am (live).

“Radio Treasures” This Tuesday Features Phone Interview with Eily at 10pm

Transmission of Funeral Mass of Con McSweeney on Church TV and Cork Music Station Today

The Funeral Mass of the late Donie Golden was broadcast live from St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet at 10am and repeated in a recording at 11am this Tuesday, 7th April 2020.  Just after 1.30pm today also the Funeral Mass of the late Con McSweeney of Tooreenbawn and Altamont will be broadcast on Church T.V. (UHF Channel 53) and also will be transmitted live on Cork Music Station.  (S.R.)

Celebration of Mass Radio Broadcasts Schedule this Coming Week on Cork Music Station

Cork Music Station will be broadcasting Mass from St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet on the following times this coming week:

Sunday, 22nd March 2020 at 12:30pm

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11.00am.

Our broadcasts begin five minutes before the Celebration of Mass in our series “Radio Treasures Extra”.   On Sunday after our Mass broadcast we then continue with an interview with Liam Flynn one of the Coordinators of the recently formed COVID-19 Local Support Group.   The Sunday programme continues until 2pm with uplifting songs, music and chat.   To tune into our Radio Station simply tap on Cork Music Station.

Following our Audio Broadcast on Cork Music Station this Sunday at 1pm of a recording of today’s Celebration of Mass by Canon John Fitzgerald, P.P. in St. Patrick’s Church at 11:30 am we received many uplifting messages from far and wide from people who truly appreciated receiving the transmission in their own homes during these challenging times of Coronavirus COVID-19.   Here is just a brief selection of the very kind comments:

Limerick on the occasion of a most memorable visit of a delightful Mobile Farm (from Co. I had not realised that I was also captured in this historic image by John Reidy as I continued to video the historic occasion in Ballydesmond in 2000.  I later photographed Marian by the graveside also and presented it to her some years later at a Book Launch in Dublin kindly coordinated by Marie O’Connor of Duarigle who is related to the late Marian.  May Marian rest in peace – Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
