The Presentation at Boherbue’s Music Room this Thursday (3rd Oct. 2019) will be given by Eithne O’Keeffe of Boherbue (pictured 4th from left) while Joe Kennelly of Inniscarra and Millstreet (7th from left in centre) will present in Millstreet on Fri. 18th Oct., 2019.

Boherbue’s “Music Room” Presentation Cancelled This Thursday

Boherbue’s “Music Room” presentation scheduled for this Thursday, 6th June 2019 – has been cancelled.    Millstreet Gramophone Circle’s next presentation is on Friday, 12th July and will be the final one of the season until we resume in September.   Below we picture Michael Drew (seated) whose musical choices – all on an Irish theme – were all so thoroughly enjoyed by a capacity audience at Millstreet Day Care Centre on Friday, 31st May.   Also included in our image are just some of the appreciative audience.  Click on the picture to enlarge.  (S.R.)

Musical Presentations Ringing Out 2018 and Welcoming 2019

Musical Choices in Boherbue & Millstreet

Tonight at 8pm in the Pearse Memorial Hall, Boherbue  – Joe Kennelly of Inniscarra and Millstreet will give the Christmas presentation at The Music Room.   It will be Frances Curtin who is scheduled to give the Christmas presentation at Millstreet Gramophone Circle on Fri. 14th Dec. 2018 in Millstreet Day Care Centre at 8.15pm.  All are welcome at both occasions.  Happy listening!  (S.R.)

Boherbue’s “Music Room” Reopens on Thursday 6th Sept. at 8pm

The new season of the “Music Room” in the Pearse Memorial Hall, Boherbue begins this Thursday (6th Sept. 2018) at 8pm.   Paddy O’Leary will present his programme of musical choices at the September Meeting.  All are very welcome.    We thank Maura for alerting us to this enjoyable event.  (S.R.)

Tim Murphy presented a superb programme of music and song at “The Music Room” in Boherbue on Thursday, 5th April 2018.   To mark the season one of Tim’s excellent tracks was “Easter Parade” with Judy Garland and Fred Astaire.  Here we share some images from the very enjoyable occasion which was attended by many people despite the very wet weather.  Millstreet Gramophone Circle’s next presentation is by Ivor Horton on Friday, 20th April 2018.  (S.R.) Michael’s Superb Presentation at Boherbue’s “Music Room”

It was Michael Cronin who presented a truly excellent programme of music and song with special emphasis on the 1960s and 1970s – at “The Music Room” in Boherbue on Thursday, 1st February – Feast of St. Brigid and on a night of the very impressive “blue moon” which I visually captured on the way home! Maurice Linehan extended a marvellous address of thanks especially mentioning Anne's remarkably relaxed and professional approach and her exquisite choice of music. Boherbue’s Music Room June Presentation with Joe Kennelly

The final presentation of this season's Music Room at the Pearse Memorial Hall in Boherbue truly ended in a wonderfully high note as Joe Kennelly of Inniscarra and Millstreet share a magnificent programme of some of the most exquisite music and song with an enthusiastic audience of some 41 people - which must be one of the highest attendances in Ireland at Gramophone events like this.
