Pilates courses are starting in The Loft (over Nibbles and Instyle) on Tuesday nights at 7pm and 8pm.

Due to essential water repairs, the supply of water to the Minor Row, Fairfield Rise, Altamount, Tanyard Wood and Drishane Road will experience interruptions from 10am to 4pm today and tomorrow (Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th) – from Cork County Council.
IRD Duhallow is currently organising an Internet and Email Training Course which will commence on the 1st of March and will run one night a week for seven weeks in the James O’ Keeffe Institute, Newmarket from 7p.m. to 9p.m. The module is designed to provide learners with the necessary skills and knowledge required to access a website, use a web browser, access web addresses, search engines, email, Internet Security, Social Networking etc. will also be covered. Only a very basic knowledge of computers is required from participants. The total course cost per participant is €30. His name is Bob, and he is similar to the dog in the photo.
He’s a cross between a Jack Russell and a Pomeranian, and he has no collar.
He was last seen in Minor Row on Sunday evening, January 29th.

BabyMAC is part of the now popular MonsterMAC Adventure Challenge www.monstermac.ie offering an ideal distance for a beginner fitness enthusiast with a 3.5km run, 16km cycle and 400m kayak around a crannog lake. You’ll need your own bike and helmet, but the kayaks and compulsory buoyancy aids are provided and many of last year’s participants couldn’t kayak or swim! Trixie is a 3 year old female West Highland Terrier, who has been missing since Saturday 7th January from Derrinagree.
Trixie is in the photo (right) which was taken before the summer. Her hair is alot longer now & she looks like she needs to be groomed.

This years Spring Farm Machinery Show has been changed to a two day show. After seven weeks of Millstreet Celtic’s Last Man Standing Competition, they are down to the last 2 players: Colin Healy & Eamonn McCaul, after Brendan Dore and Siobhain Kelleher were knocked out at the weekend.

Also, they will be starting a new competition Saturday week (17th Dec) and any new players are welcome to participate. Tickets are available from any Millstreet Celtic squad member and also at various locations around the town.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without our legendary Santa Night! For those of you who have not joined us for this yet, you’ll be delighted to know that we are actually joined by the REAL Santa. No fake-bearded imposters at The Secret Garden! Again, there’s no charge, complimentary mulled wine and a general festive and feel-good evening with more fairy lights than you can shake a stick at.
