This Friday Night February 7th Cork Music Station is holding its Annual Night Out at The Pub in Carriganima.
Celebrate a Great Night of Entertainment with Live Music by CMS DJs Pat Daly and Barry O`Halloran and meet the CMS DJ Team,also appearing on the night is Glor Tire Contestant Michelle Cotter,Cork Music Station was set up around 2 years ago by Cullen based Father and Son Team Willie and John Fitzgerald and since its formation has been a great success attracting listeners from both near and far,so come along next Friday Night to find out more about this great venture and enjoy a great night of entertainment as well,all welcome.

Delivery from Millstreet to Carriganima of LTV2 Programme 227 to Dan Joe Kelleher for Sunday night’s on air (UHF Channels 30 and 35) broadcast on LTV. This is a slightly different DVD to Thursday night’s transmission. Additional music, captions and overlays are incorporated. Death Notice: Michael Lane, Carriganima
The death has occurred on Tuesday 24th December 2013 of Michael Lane, Knockraheen, Carriganima. Reposing at his daughters residence Margaret Buckley, Clondrohid on Wednesday 25th Rosary at 9.00pm. Removal on Thursday from Tarrant’s Funeral Home Millstreet at 8.00pm to Millstreet Church. Requiem mass Friday at 10.30am and burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery Millstreet.

7.00pm: Two half-hour programmes from LTV2 Millstreet.
8.00pm: Clondrohid Christmas Song & Story (Final Part).
8.30pm: 1998 Pageant from Macroom Church.
9.00pm: LTV2 Millstreet – Highlights of Programme 136 from 2009.
9.30pm: LTV1 – Christmas Concert from St. Joseph’s N.S., Macroom.
10.30pm: LTV2 Half-hour Programme
11.00pm: Final Part of Codrum Lights feature.
Transmission of LTV for Christmas Day ends at approximately 11.30pm.

Programme 226 which will be broadcast tonight Thursday 19 December at 10.00pm is now online. You can now watch our Sixth Programme of the Season right here at millstreet.ie or on the LTV2 Facebook Page and this Programme will be repeated next Sunday Evening December 22 at 8.00pm
To receive reception one needs to retune analogue settings (available in menu “settings”). When scanning is complete one will now have the new channel – either UHF Channel 30 or UHF Channel 35 (or both in certain areas of Millstreet). All this depends on how strong the signal is in any given area. The UHF Channel 30 signal comes from the Carriganima direction whereas the UHF Channel 35 signal comes from the western side of Millstreet Town. Christmas Spirit in Carriganima & Great Generosity to Website
The very generous patrons of The Pub in Carriganima with coordinator Seán Murphy presented €100.00 to the Millstreet Website Team to assist in defraying operating costs of the community website where the Team volunteers to upload news and pictures on a daily basis. I accepted the presentation on behalf of the Millstreet Website Team. The atmosphere in Carriganima for the official turning on of the Christmas Lights was truly “electric” with the magnificent participation of Millstreet Community Singers. Jimmy Murphy alerts us to the fact that the official presentation of cheques to Millstreet and Macroom Hospitals takes place on Saturday, 5th October at 9.30 p.m. in The Pub, Carriganima. This uplifting occasion is the result of the recent hugely successful Carriganima Run/Jog/Walk fundraising event superbly coordinated by Jimmy and his wonderfully dedicated Team. Everyone is welcome to attend the presentations at The Pub and Jimmy extends his heartfelt thanks to all who helped to make the event on Saturday, 21st September 2013 such an outstanding success. The Committee of Carriganima 4 mile run/jog/walk in aid of Millstreet and Macroom Hospitals would like to thank all participants and everybody who helped in making it a successful and memorable event.
Liam Roche Officially Begins the Very Successful Carriganima Four Mile Event on Saturday – All in Aid of Millstreet and Macroom Hospitals
The event attracted an entry of 144 participants. First back in 21mins 24secs while quite a few of us arrived back in 1hour 33mins! But we finished the 4 mile walk, enjoyed the scenery, got a guided tour of the area from Liam Roche, took lots of photos as you note and loved the weather and the great camaraderie.
