Death Notice: Kitty Desmond, Crinaloo

The death has occurred of Kathleen (Kitty) Desmond, Crinaloo, Rathcoole, Cork. Passed away peacefully on Monday 28th January 2019 in Mallow General Hospital. Predeceased by her son Dan, sister Nancy and nephew Martin. Deeply regretted by her sister Tessie, brother Paddy, nieces Catherine and Kathy, nephew Jerry, good friend Honor, neighbours and large circle of friends.
Lying in Repose in Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet on Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm followed by removal to St. Nicholas’ Church, Kilcorney. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. [RIP]

Catherine O’Mahony (née Cronin), Ballincollig & Millstreet

O’ Mahony (Cranford Pines, Ballincollig and formerly Millstreet, Co. Cork). On January 26th 2019, peacefully in the presence of her loving family at Cork University Hospital; Catherine (née Cronin), beloved wife of the late Justin and sister of the late John, Eily, Sheila, Timmy and Nora. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her adoring daughter and best friend Mary, sisters Mary and Joan, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces especially Orla, Aoife and Emer, brothers-in-law, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Rosary on Sunday at 5.00pm. Removal on Monday at 5.00pm to Ss. Peter and Paul’s Church. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12.30pm. Funeral afterwards to St. James’ Cemetery, Chetwynd. Superb Welcome for TR Dallas at The Pub in Carriganima

Seán Murphy wishes to express sincere thanks to the very many people who attended Friday night’s truly wonderful occasion of splendid songs and music by the ever popular TR Dallas at The Pub in Carriganima.  Here we share the first two of some 14 images (12 more in a later post) capturing the very cheerful and uplifting atmosphere in the very welcoming venue.   Accompanying TR on keyboard and providing further songs was Joe King from Co.
