Meeting with Millstreet Vintage Club

A nice little video of the Millstreet Vintage Club Christmas Spin, they arrive in the Square at 12.55 minutes into the video.

“Like every year, today is the day when Christmas lights are lit in our small town, on this occasion @millstreet Vintage Club organized a small rally of old and new cars decorated with colourful Christmas lights, I had the honour to join this ride.  For me this was very cool as it was the  first time thatI had the opportunity to drive with them,  it was  my first meeting with them and certainly not the last.”

Local musician Joe Guerin will be playing at the Millstreet Day Centre

Local musician Joe Guerin will be playing for the residents of Millstreet Day Centre on this Wednesday evening in the Day Centre, November 29th @ 8.00pm. Tea/Coffee & Mince Pies will be served! We welcome in members of the local community to also attend for a lovely evening of music & song

It is Officially Christmas in Millstreet

A wonderful festive atmosphere prevailed in the Square yesterday evening. The Millstreet Pipe Band opened the proceedings while Master of Ceremony Seán Radley expertly kept everyone informed on what to expect and what is happening.

Special guest Matt Cooper from Today FM turned on the lights, Santa visited and proved to be very popular as always.  The Millstreet Vintage Club added  to the Christmassy feel with their well lit up vehicles and tractors with colourful Christmas lights.

Thank you to Neil O’Connor for submitting the photographs to us.  (If you have images you would like to share, please email contact @millstreet.ie)
