“The Michael Commins Show” on Sky 389 “Keep It Country” – Excellent Viewing

“The Michael Commins Show” on Sky 389 on Tuesday night 11pm to midnight (7th Feb. 2017) was absolutely excellent featuring Annmarie O’Riordan, Slim Whitman, Jimmy Shand and a superb sequence with Big Tom, Rose and Paddy Cole in Castleblaney (2014)….and lots more including Gene Stuart. We very much encourage you to view either the Friday (5-6pm) or the Saturday (10-11pm) repeat showings. This superb new Country & Western plus Irish Television Channel is called “Keep It Country” T.V. on Sky 389.
This week’s Show is really marvellous viewing.  (S.R.)

International Support for IHCPT Lourdes Project 2017

When Patrick O’Leary of Louisville, Kentucky read about the upcoming event he sent €60.00 to Millstreet Museum to be presented to the two inspiring Students who will be representing their school on the IHCPT Project in Lourdes in April 2017. The official presentation of Patrick’s very generous support including his letter in which he had also offered to provide a further prize for the Draw on the night – an item from Kentucky and its very famous equestrian tradition. Úna and Dervla will be writing to express thanks to Patrick (who is to revisit Ireland in July 2017). Also included in the above picture which was taken by Frances Moynihan (Deputy Principal) is Pat Pigott, Principal, Millstreet Community School.
