Credit Unions at the Heart of Every Community

Credit Unions at the Heart of Every Community

Friendly, personable, and face-to-face: it’s what members know and love most about their credit union. Credit unions offer a range of services to their members. Lately, there has been a huge increase in members requiring online and phone banking facilities, so Mallow Credit Union: Millstreet has been investing in improving its existing services. More members can now transfer money and apply for loans online, via email – so they can bank on the go, or from the comfort of their home. The next phase will include a new mobile app and Current Account, with a Mastercard debit card. (due later 2021)

With the unfortunate closure of 103 Bank of Ireland branches across the island of Ireland, we are once again reminded of the important role of the credit union sector. Credit unions, as established financially inclusive cooperatives, exist solely to meet the needs of their members.
Bank customers can very quickly become members of Mallow Credit Union:Millstreet to avail of the range of services available. So, whether you’ve never been a member, or it’s been a while, we’re inviting you to become part of our story!
