Millstreet Festival – Day 3 – Saturday 6th July – It Gets Better and Better!

The exceptionally fine weather is adding so much to the magnificent of the 2013 Millstreet Festival.   Here we view the turning of the sod on the new Astroturf Project near Millstreet Town Park and we view a very happy group at the very successful open-air craft and food fair while the Soccer Blitz attracted great interest. Donie Hickey is Honoured at a Superb Retirement Reception in Corkery’s Bar on Saturday Night Following an Amazing Forty-eight Years of Wonderfully Dedicated Service to Cork Marts

A superb Retirement Reception to honour Donie Hickey of Killarney Road, Millstreet having served Cork Marts for an amazing 48 years, was held at Crokery's Bar, Millstreet on Saturday night (6th July).   The huge attendance included members of Donie's Family plus many work colleagues who travelled long distances to pay tribute to the wonderfully dedicated Cork Marts' Employee and such a True Gentleman.
