Impressive Cheque Presentation in Aubane for Irish Air Ambulance

Following the annual Christmas Morning Mushera Climb 2018 the proceeds amounted to the wonderfully impressive amount of €2,000.00.   A cheque for this uplifting amount was presented on Thursday night (7th Feb. 2019) in Aubane Community Centre to Shirley O’Regan of Youghal – the Irish Community Rapid Response by Land & Air Representative – in aid of the new Air Ambulance which will be based in Rathcoole.   MC, John F. Kelleher, expressed thanks to the many dedicated people who helped to make this very praiseworthy project such a great success again this year.  Shirley outlined the importance of such fundraising for the all-important developing Air Ambulance Service and provided an update on the progress of the overall project…with special reference to Rathcoole.   A brief interview with Shirley may be heard on Cork Music Station this Tuesday, 12th Feb. at 10pm in the “Radio Treasures” programme.   Click on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)
