A very special occasion was celebrated this Thursday evening, 6th July 2023, in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Cullen when Saoirse and Caoimhe Murphy received their First Holy Communion during Mass celebrated by Canon John Fitzgerald, P.P.. They had travelled all the way from Perth, Australia with parents Kirsty and Donagh Murphy for the ceremony to the very same Church where some years ago they also received the Sacrament of Baptism. Their father, Donagh is a native of the Cullen area. We thank Donagh and Kirsty for permission to share this feature where we include a selection of wonderful images kindly shared by Liz O’Regan.
