The death has occurred of James (Larry) Moynihan, Clara Road & Main Street, Millstreet, Co. Cork.

Late of Moynihan’s Butchers, Main Street: James Larry, passed away, peacefully, on January 24th, in the wonderful care of the staff in the Mercy Hospital, Cork. Beloved husband of Mairead, loving father of Catherine (Kate), Con and David. Sadly missed by his loving daughter and sons, daughters-in-law Martha and Lisa, grandchildren Laura, Eoin, Maisie, Liadh, Aoife and John, sisters Mary, Kathleen (Fanny) and Nan, brothers Michael and Jeremiah, his many relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose in Tarrant’s Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6pm followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am. Millstreet Meals on Wheels service

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.

 A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

Ann O’Sullivan (née Cahill), Lisnaboy, Cullen

The death has occurred of Ann O’Sullivan (née Cahill), Lisnaboy, Cullen, Co. Cork, P51 RY22.

On January 24th 2023, unexpectedly but peacefully at her home. Ann is deeply regretted by her loving husband Billy, her son Joe, daughters Carolann & Linda, daughter-in-law Breda, sons-in-law Michael & John, her beloved grandchildren, Emma, Ben, Gia & Charlie.

Ann was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend. She is predeceased by her sister Eily Mai and will be sadly missed by her brother Dan, her sister Sheila, her sister-in-law Betty, brother-in-law Barney, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

Lying in repose at her home in Lisnaboy (P51 RY22), from 4pm-7pm on Wednesday 25th January 2023.

Requiem mass on Thursday 26th January at 12pm in Church of the Nativity Cullen. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
