Acknowledgement and 1st Anniversary

Donie Golden,
Tullig, Millstreet.
April 2nd 2020

We, the family of Donie, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the great kindness and support shown to us following our sudden and sad loss. Due to the health restrictions, we were unable to meet with family, friends and neighbours but we were greatly touched by the volume of letters, Mass cards, online condolences and phone calls we received. We extend our deep appreciation to the many neighbours, relatives and friends who lined the route of the funeral cortege on the day of the burial, which was a great comfort to us. The kindness and support shown by our dear friends and relatives meant so much to us. We sincerely thank the wonderful paramedics who attended to Donie and extend our deep appreciation for their immense effort .Our thanks also to Dr Michael Casey and the late Dr Pat. Our appreciation to Canon Jack Fitzgerald for his consoling prayers at the Funeral.

Mass and burial and for his support throughout our time of grief. Thanks also to Sharon and Julie for their support and assistance. A special thank you to Davy Tarrant and Cora for their help, kindness, sensitivity, and professionalism with the funeral arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a
memory no one can steal.

I’ve this chosen this because my late husband Pat had leukaemia and this had an enormous impact on oùr family.Sadly Pat passed away in 2011 and this year will be the 10th anniversary of his passing and I hope that you’ll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. I’ve included information about The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society below.
