Dianne from New Zealand Tuning into “Radio Treasures” Tonight

Tonight’s programme from 9.30 to 11.00 places focus on the uplifting response to the recent totally unexpected “Induction into the Irish Broadcasting Hall of Fame”  and we chat about last night’s Co. Mayor’s Reception in Cork.  And tonight also we have a very special new Listener in New Zealand – a great Friend of Russell Murphy who so very kindly arranged the presentation of the truly precious Medal to Millstreet Museum some weeks ago – We speak of Dianne Hansen pictured below with her twin sister when they were in school in 1955 and we  pay very special tribute to their Mum who went to her Eternal Reward some two years ago.  This little feature will transmit at 10pm Irish time (which for Dianne and Russell will be tomorrow morning!)  We also include our “Fascinating Facts” feature. We invite you to a Waltzing Trip Through Ireland….We also include a number of Daniel O’Donnell tracks.    And lots more great music.  Feel welcome to text 086 825 0074 the programme or send a message to the “Seán Radley” Facebook Page.   To access just log into www.corkmusicstation.com .  Happy Listening!

    1. Russell – what a small world it is and how amazing modern technology is – as you tuned into our “Radio Treasures” tonight (or tomorrow morning in New Zealand due to time difference!) as we broadcast live from Millstreet. So delighted that you enjoyed our special tribute to Dianne’s late dear Mum. The three pictures shared on our website by Dianne are truly delightful. Kindest regards to All in beautiful New Zealand.

    1. Russell…Many thanks for letting us know that “Radio Treasures” was heard in Dannevirke, New Zealand. And thank you for the extra superb pictures which we shall later share with our dedicated website followers.
