Looking for a Host Family

Can anyone help?

“We are looking for a host family who might accommodate a Polish boy who is coming to spend four weeks in Ireland, to learn English and have his first experience away from home. He is 17, arrives on July 29th and leaves on August 27th. He would need breakfast and evening meal with a family who would have other children his age. Thank you.”

Clocks Go Forward One Hour Tonight

Just a reminder that Clocks go forward one hour tonight as we welcome Summertime…or  “New Time” to which it is often referred.  One sure way of remembering whether clocks go forward or backwards is, according to one kind Millstreet native, easy to recall when one recalls the following rhyme:  “Spring forward in the Spring but fall backwards in the Fall (Autumn)! “ (S.R.)
