“Where the Road Takes Me” on C103 on Sunday at 7pm

We thank John Greene, Presenter Supreme of the weekly radio programme on C103 for advance information re this Sunday’s programme (6th May 2018).  (S.R.)

This week on ‘Where the road takes me’, we meet Teddy Hayes from
Rosscarbery, the recent recipient of an award for his constant fundraising
down through the years.

After being initially given the ‘all-clear’, Teddy was later informed that
Kidney cancer had spread to his lungs. Teddy has now organised a
fund-raiser for Arc House in Bantry – this particular fund-raiser is
personal.

On the programme……

* We hear Teddy’s story, and how initial anger and fear has changed
to positivity.

* We meet Catríona O’Mahony – cancer support co-ordinator at Arc
House

May has arrived, and finally, maybe finally,  we may have left the winter behind us. In any case this bank holiday weekend is warm and sunny and to be enjoyed.
