A very big thank you to everyone: pupils, teachers, parents, members of the local community, who so kindly donated items for the Kerry to Calais initiative. The collection took place today (25th Sept.) in Millstreet Community School. The gloves, scarfs, hats, blankets and toiletries will all be put to good use.

Briery Gap: Cookie and the Vaudevilles
A five piece Cork based band playing original music in a Hybrid-Retro-jazz style. The Band is fronted by COOKIE (aka Caitriona Fallon ) who has previously toured worldwide as lead vocalist with the RIVERDANCE phenomenon. COOKIE is a native of Cobh, Co. Cork and has been singing all her life, receiving classical training in voice at the Cork School of Music. THE VAUDEVILLES consists of accomplished musicians with many years of national and international experience. Dave Barry – Double-Bass and mandolin, John McGrath – Guitar, Alan Carney – Piano,flute and melodica, and Marc Anderson – Drums. Together with Cookie, the band write all the original material performed in concert.
