  1. We are so sorry to hear of the sad news of Peggy having passed away. Loads of memories come flooding back to me of our school days. One in particular was every Saturday night, I had to collect the sausages from Twomey’s. One time, when Peggy and I got home, we had JUST the wrapping paper….and no sausages!!!…We ran back down to Twomey’s, retracing our steps, and found the sausages in the street where I had unknowingly dropped them. We picked them up and went home again, washed them and put them back in the same wrapping paper, so my mother wouldn’t know any different ….if she had known, WE would have been served up for breakfast!!! …and so we survived to tell the tale! So every time I met Peggy over the years, the first thing she said was, ” Do you remember the sausages?!!” Our thoughts are with you all, Anna, Con and all the family, Breeda and Kate (London)
