“Strings” Group Leave for Derry to Participate in NAFCo 2012
The wonderfully talented members of “Strings” leave Millstreet for Derry on Tuesday evening to participate in the North Atlantic Fiddle Convention 2012 being held in Derry. Full details of the Convention are available on www.nafco2012.com . We wish the Group under the leadership of their Music Coordinator, Emer Foley-Twomey, every success. It is indeed very clear that the Millstreet Group (with a further talented musician from Rockchapel) will hugely impress all with whom they meet in Derry when one considers how superbly uplifting the recent truly excellent Strings Concert was in Drishane Chapel on 1st June 2012.
