The Millstreet Calendar 2016
Millstreet Community Council have published their Calendar for 2016 and it can be purchased in many local shops and businesses in the town. It costs just €5 and this year the proceeds will go towards the maintenance and upkeep of the newly opened Gym and the Youth Centre. It will also be on sale at the Christmas market on the 29th of November in the GAA hall.
The calendar contains fabulous images that represent some of the events and activities that took place in Millstreet during the past year. It is a lovely idea as a Christmas present while at the same time , the monies raised will be circulated back into the community facilities again. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Stage One of the Christmas Lights
Stage one of Millstreet Christmas Lights was completed on Thursday night, and it includes a lovely new Swan in the fountain at West End. A special thanks to the volunteer electricians and helpers for a great job. More lovely decorations to follow to enhance our lovely town for Christmas. photos below were sent to us from Noreen, Niamh, and Michelle.
