Saturday November 28th next is the centenary of the Kilmichael Ambush, an event that would prove to be not only militarily significant, but historically as well.

Local filmaker Brendan Hayes from Dunmanway talks about his documentary – ‘Here’s to the Boys – Kilmichael – One hundred years later’.
Because of Covid 19, Brendan has had to scupper his plans to Launch and show the documentary to the public on the weekend of the centenary. It will be shown at a later and appropriate date.
