In the beginning he was living in the shadow of his older and more famous brother Nathan, but now Jake Carter is a performing artist in his own right.
This week on ‘Where the road takes me’, John Greene chats to him about his Liverpool upbringing, and the mandatory and expected love of the Beatles and Liverpool Football club.
We hear about his Irish Granny who doubles up as a groupie, while also instilling a love of Irish music in all of the young Carters.
Accompanied by his trusted guitar, he sings a few of his favourite songs, while there’s also time to chat about life on the road, wanting to be his own man, and plans for the future.
