Dia is mhuire diobh go leir a cairde and welcome to Eily’s weekly Report.

A special Mass will be said in Millstreet Church this evening (Tuesday May 31st)for Eucharistic Adorers in Millstreet and  Cullen and for  people of the Parish. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 6.30 to 7.30, in the main church. Mass at 7.30. And all are welcome.

The lovely month of May is slipping away from us in the nicest possible way. Warm sunshine mixed with just the right amount of rain to boost all important growth. At the start of May the countryside still had that look of hurt, and damage following the awful weather of the winter months. But the man above who commands all things, didn’t let us down and in those four short weeks the picture has to be seen to be believed.

The explosion of green and colour and growth is on record levels, to my memory anyway. Baoichas le Dia.

Our past weekend saw crowds and crowds of people out enjoying the great out-of-doors. In our area at any rate the heavy rains of Sunday evening didn’t come until after six o’clock when events were over  and the Annual  Cloghoula School Pattern was a wonderful success. Well done to all the organisers.
