Dia is mhuire diobh go leir a cairde and welcome to news report 1033 for Millstreet.

Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this nice sunny, but showery, Tuesday morning.

This Thursday Oct 7th. is the feast day of Our Blessed Lady of Holy Rosary  and Mass  by Fr. Paddy O Byrne, will be celebrated at Tubrid Well that evening starting at 7.

A very pleasant ceremony was held at the Wallis Arms Hotel last Wednesday night, organised by the Tidy Towns Committee. Prizes were presented to the winners of the Tidy Towns Competition, for best business frontage, best private frontage and best flower gardens. They were as follows, Eileen and Noel Collins, Mary Murray, Joan Wall, Margaret Smith, Paddy and Helen Sheahan , and Reens Farmacy.  The judges said that their task was a very difficult because of all the beautiful gardens to choose from. We’d like to congratulate the winners and compliment all those who make the effort to beautify their places.

We are sorry to say that LTV2 will not be back for a little longer. We will inform you a week in advance.
