The death has occured on Saturday, 23rd June 2012 of Nora McGeough, New Jersey, U.S.A. (nee McNulty of Lackabawn, Millstreet). Deeply regretted by her daughters and son, grandchildren, nieces, family and friends in New Jersey. Also deeply regretted by her sister Margaret Murphy, Pound Hill, Millstreet as well as her nieces, nephew and family in Millstreet. Nora was predeceased by her brothers Dan and Pat. Nora Mary McGeough (nee McNulty), 77, of West Orange, N.J., passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St., West Orange, at 8:30 a.m., then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange, for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, N.J. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Nora was born and raised in Millstreet, County Cork Ireland, and lived in Toronto, where she met and married her husband. They lived in Orange, N.J., before settling in West Orange 40 years ago. After raising her family she went back to work, working in admitting at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orange for 10 years. She was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Orange. Nora was the beloved wife of the late Thomas McGeough; devoted mother of Noreen McGeough, Rose McGeough, Tommy McGeough and his wife, Allyson, and the late Patrick John McGeough and Mary Anne Tuite, and cherished grandmother of Tom, Katrina, John, Janey, Liam, Tyler and Evan. She is also survived by her best friend, Evelyn Bermingham; her loving caregiver, Sandy Talbot, and many family and friends in the United States, Canada and Ireland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 740 Broad St., Shrewsbury, N.J. 07702.

Thank you for putting my mom’s death on the site. She always enjoyed seeing what was going on back home when she wasn’t able to travel anymore. I just wanted to mention that the obituary left out that she is survived by her sister Margaret Murphy and was predeceased by her brothers Dan and Pat. Thank you.
