Attempted Raid at Rathcoole Post Office

Gardai are appealing to the public to be on the lookout for two suspects who left empty handed following an attempted robbery , at the Post office in Rathcoole near Milstreet. The incident occurred shortly after 11 o’clock this morning , when two men entered the post office and demanded money One is described as being a heavy set man with a skin head and spoke with a Dublin accent and was wearing blue jeans and a grey hoodie The other man was slim and was wearing blue jeans and a dark jacket , along with a blue motorcycle helmet The men escaped on a motorbike and travelled in the direction of Kilcorney. Inspector Tony Sugrue says they have a number of checkpoints set up to try and catch the culprits. – from C103FM Evening Echo

TWO RAIDERS STILL AT LARGE AFTER ATTEMPTED POST OFFICE RAID IN MILLSTREET.
Gardai ask the public to report any unusual activity.
Gardai in Kanturk say they`re still on the lookout for two men , who attempted to rob a post office yesterday morning… The pair left emptyhanded at Rathcoole in Millstreet .. Checkpoints across a wide area were scaled back last night , but gardai are appealing to people to report any suspicious activity .. One of the suspects spoke with a Dublin accent ….
