The very popular Garda Eddie involved himself in Millstreet life over the past 26 years.    In many tributes paid to Eddie who resided in Millstreet during most of his dedicated service to the area he was described as a very real Community Garda as Sgt. Gerry Carmody had also been described when he retired on 6th June (pictured seated 6th from left).   Eddie was very much involved in Sport and enthusiastically played with a number of local teams.   We wish him many years of relaxing, healthy and enjoyable retirement as he moves to reside in his native Listowel, Co.
