Millstreet Parents Association Pancake Competition

Millstreet Parents Association would like to thank all the talented children who sent in entries from both the Presentation N.S. and Scoil Mhuire B.N.S.  The children sent in a lot of fantastic pictures of how they like to have their Pancakes, lots of wonderful designs and colours, I am told it made the decision of who the winner was such a hard job.  Here are the pictures, some great talent here I think you’ll agree.

Millstreet Parents Association

Millstreet Parents Association has a new page on Facebook for both Presentation N.S. and Scoil Mhuire B.N.S. in Millstreet.  It will be a place where they advertise upcoming fundraising events and communicate with parents and the community.

Sadly, the last year the Association hasn’t been able to put on any Quiz, Church Gate Collection or Disco to help with the fundraising, but did hold a Movie night, Halloween colouring competition also gave gifts for the First Holy Communion children.  So hopefully newer and safer ways can be found to fundraise and support the schools.

A new Competition is going up on the Facebook page this week ‘Pancake Bake Off’ for the children of the school’s with a super prize.

Here is a reminder of some of the previous good work the Parents Assn has done in Millstreet.

Millstreet Parent Assn Competition Winners

Millstreet Parents Association sadly couldn’t put on the annual ‘Halloween Disco’ this year, so recently over half term they held a Netflix party where children from the Presentation N.S. & Scoil Mhuire Boy’s N.S. watched a film together from the safety of their own homes, also they held a couple of competition’s, firstly a colouring competition and then a fancy dress competition.  Below are some of the winners.  Thank you to everyone who entered, it was really hard picking the winners and we wish we could have shared all the entries as they were wonderful and scary.  Also thank you to both schools and everyone who helped.

Keep Dogs safe.

Just had a message in:

A man with an occupant in his van was stopped outside our gate asking for directions to St. John’s well. Was inquiring about our dog and how old she was. He was curious as to how she acted as well. We watched as he drove towards Aubane area driving slowly past everyone’s house. A newish silver van with English Reg plates. Very suspicious and let everyone to keep watch of their dogs.

Remember keep an eye out for any Plastic Ties or markings outside your gate, and let anyone know if you see anything on other peoples properties.
