CATHOLIC YOUNG ADULTS CONFERENCE entitled “Mary went in haste” will be held in All Hallows College, Dublin on 29th & 30th August. It is open to young adults between 18 and 40.   • MILLSTREET MONUMENTS COMMITTEE will unveil a plaque to commemorate the centenary visit of Padraig Pearse to Millstreet on 22nd August, 1915. The unveiling will take place on 22nd August at 7.30p.m. outside Corkery’s Bar, Millstreet and will launch Heritage Week in Duhallow. All welcome to attend.
  • MILLSTREET GRAMOPHONE CIRCLE will meet in the Canon O’Donovan Centre on Friday 21st August at 8.15p.m. Presenter this month is Bernard O’Donoghue, Cullen & Oxford. All are welcome.
  • THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to last weekend’s church gate collection for Millstreet Museum also incorporating funding for the Millstreet Website which amounted to €1,805.22.
