  1. Hi. My name is Annmaree Watts from Australia. I am trying to establish my connection to the late Maurice O’Connor of Dooneen whose anniversary was recently. My great grandfather was Cornelius O’Connor who was born in Dooneen in 1862 and died in Australia in 1933. He was married to Margaret Clare Buckley, 1867 to 1956. Cornelius O’Connor’s sister Mary O’Connor, 1840 to 1900, married Pat O’Connell, 1836 to 1907 and stayed on the family property in Dooneen which I believe was the final home of a Eugene O’Connell until his death in 2004. I was wondering if any of the relatives of the late Maurice O’Connor of Dooneen could help me establish a family connection. Branches of my ancestors include Kellehers and Dennehys and one of the O’Connells married into another family of O’Connors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
