A meeting of the Luíochán Cluainbainin 5~3~1921 Clonbanin Ambush Commemoration Committee was held in Dromtariffe Parish Hall recently. The following officers were elected: ~

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday February 12th at 8pm.

Hi. I wonder if someone would mind contacting my uncle Fr. Sean Slattery (061 335981) about this commemoration as he would be very interested. His father, Maurice Slattery, was held hostage by the British Army in the convoy and managed to escape during the ambush.
