Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Wednesday from 10.30a.m. to 8.30p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Millstreet.  Feel free to drop in and pray in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament at any time that suits you.

CULLEN CHURCH:

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT on Thursday (2nd) at 7.00p.m. followed by Mass at 7.30p.m.

COMMUNION CALLS TO THE SICK & HOUSEBOUND:

Fr. Fitzgerald will make his Communion Calls for the month of September on:

Thursday (2nd) for the Millstreet Area & Friday (3rd) for the Cullen Area.

DIOCESAN COLLECTION LAST WEEKEND:  The total collected for the Pastoral & Retreat Centres was €1,367.00.  Many thanks

Community Notices

v      NAÍONRA IRISH PRE-SCHOOL, CLARA ROAD will reopen on Monday 30th August. Participating in the Government children’s grant scheme.

v      MILLSTREET PRESENTATION NATIONAL SCHOOL: re-opens Monday 30th August

v      RATHDUANE NATIONAL SCHOOL:  re-opens Wednesday 1st September

v      AFTER SCHOOL PROJECT MILLSTREET:  If there are sufficient numbers of parents interested in this service it will re-open on Monday 6th September.  Contact (087) 7797422 to enrol.

v      MILLSTREET COMMUNITY SCHOOL:  will re-open on the following days:  Tuesday (31st) for First year pupils; Wednesday (1st) for Second & Junior Cert pupils and Thursday (2nd) for Transition year, fifth & leaving cert.

v      LITTLE TREASURES PLAY SCHOOL will re-open on Monday 30th August.  Participating in the Government children’s grant scheme.

v      MILLSTREET TODDLER GROUP:  Starting on Tuesday 7th September in Millstreet GAA Hall between 10.00 & 2.00.

v      DUHALLOW CHORAL SOCIETY are back in training with conductor Sharon Reidy on Tuesday (7th) at 7.30p.m. in Scoil Mhuire, Kanturk.  New members welcome.  For further information contact Marion (086) 1704124 or Tom on (086)8612708

v      “FR. CON KIELY ECUADOR FUND”: Donations of almost €12,000 were received for Fr. Con’s missionary work. He would like to thank all who contributed.
