In our Church, the Beautiful Crib is in place, and the Church Choir is at the ready to Herald in the Christmas, and bring Joy to the World.

Every good wish to all those who will join the Christmas Day Climb of Mushera Mountain to-morrow, in the light of the severe storm  and rain forecast. The proceeds are going to the Courtmacherry life Boats who themselves will go out in any kind of weather to save lives at sea.

Sponsored walk organised by the GAA on St Stephens Day starting from the Gaa Hall at 11. and there’s a prize for the Best Dressed Wren Boy / Girl taking part. Refreshmants at Colemans at journeys end.

The annual New Years Day dip in the Blackwater at Dooneen is planned to go ahead as usual. The proceeds  will go to Mental Health Support in the Cork area.

Local TV starts on Christmas Day at 5pm and will transmit programs both from Macroom and Millstreet. Be reminded that the shows from Millstreet can be viewed any time on the Millstreet Website, thanks to the expertise of Bernard Crowley.

The weekly Bingo will go ahead as usual on Thursday at the GAA Hall.

Please be aware of those who are in need over the Festive Season. The number of the Local St. Vincent de Paul  branch is 087 959 79 00. It is displayed at the back of the Church.
