Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Tuesday & Wednesday from 10.30a.m. to 10.30p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Millstreet. Requests for Prayer & Special Intentions – a box & slips of papers for these intentions can be found at the back of the Church.  Each Tuesday & Wednesday the box will be placed on the altar for Mass and then placed in the Adoration Chapel so that people attending can pray for them.

Everyone is invited to the Parish Centre for a “Gathering” and refreshments after 7.30p.m. Mass on 20th September.  As members of the Millstreet Parish Family we wish to have an open discussion around: “What would enhance your Faith Life?”

Any suggestion to deepen your sense of belonging to the Parish? 

What needs could realistically be met?

Community Notices

v      MILLSTREET TOWN PARK COMMITTEE:  At the September 2013 meeting of this committee the following was passed:  “If dog owners continue to walk their dogs without leads and neglect to deal with the dog’s fouling – we shall have no option but to ban dogs from the Town Park.”

v      IRD DUHALLOW is providing suicide training courses this year.  It is an evening talk on 24th Sept and two day course on 15th & 16th Oct. Contact 60633 for details.

v      MUSIC CLASS: will commence in Cullen Community Centre on this Monday 16th at 6.00p.m

v      MILLSTREET GRAMOPHONE CIRCLE: meets in the Canon O’Donovan Centre on Friday 20th Sept at 8.15p.m.  This month’s presenter:  Maurice Linehan.

v      MILLSTREET ADULT LEARNING CENTRE:  will be running a variety of Adult Education Courses in mid September. Contact Aine on (086) 7707301.

v      COFFEE EVENING: in aid of Marymount Hospice in Ballydaly Hall on Thursday 19th September between 8.00p.m. & 10.00p.m. Everyone welcome.

v      BALLYDALY HALL:  Set-dancing recommences on Wed 25th September.

v      ASTRO-TURF COMMITTEE:  Meeting of Astro-turf committee on Tuesday 17th Sept at 9.00p.m. in The Wallis Arms.
