MILLSTREET ALTAR SOCIETY for August 19th & 26th: Group A
PARISH PREPARATION FOR THE WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES
In preparation for the World Meeting of Families the intentions of the families of the Parish will be remembered at the vigil Mass for the Feast of the Assumption next Tuesday evening at 7.30p.m. Prior to the Mass the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the main Altar from 6.30p.m.
During the next two weeks we invite you to place the intentions of your family in the intention box in our sacred space at the rear of the Church. During the week of the World meeting of Families this box will be placed on the Altar during all Masses. To mark this special occasion after each mass on Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a commemorative candle available and we would encourage each household to purchase a candle and light it in your homes during the World meeting of families. Cost €1.00.
